Dr Alison Stacey
Dr Alison Stacey graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2005 with a BMedSci and MBBS(Hons). She completed the Diploma of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (DRANZCOG) whilst working at Sunshine Hospital in 2008, and the Diploma of Child Health in 2009.
Alison attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2011, and worked in General Practice in Melbourne and Launceston before relocating to Gippsland in 2016.
After having her first child, Alison developed an interest in Breastfeeding Medicine, and qualified as a volunteer breastfeeding counsellor in 2015. Alison has gone on to further study, has recently qualified as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), and is currently working towards attaining a Diploma in Breastfeeding Management.
Alison is a Shared Maternity Care Affiliate with the West Gippsland Hospital.
